Lisa is the Owner/Operator of Parent2Parent. In addition to her lived experience as a mother of a young adult on the autism spectrum, her years of dedication with supporting a multitude of clinics has given her a level of knowledge and empathy that helps parents feel understood and dignified when they connect with her; that’s how her company Parent2Parent was born! With more than 35 years of professional experience in the business world, and lived experience, she knows that when she connects with parents she understands their struggles, because she’s been there too.

Rebecca Summerfield

Rebecca Summerfield has 25+ years experience and a career passion for supporting job seekers from all walks of life, and specifically neurodivergent individuals (ASD, ADHD, etc.). She is also the mother of 2 neurodivergent young adults. She has been a Keynote Speaker for many Job Seeker Symposiums in Ontario and is a champion for Hiring People with Disabilities and presenting to employer groups about the benefits of doing so. She develops workshops aimed at helping people identify their strengths, acknowledge their barriers, and create strategies for helping them succeed. She is a designated Career Development Practitioner, has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario, a post-grad certificate in Corporate Communications and Public Relations from Fanshawe College as well as multiple certifications in interpreting and facilitating assessments (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Personality Dimensions, Strong Interest Inventory, etc.).

Amelia Hone

Amelia Hone is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with over 15 years’ experience supporting individuals, families and third-party professionals in the special needs community. Amelia has her a post secondary diploma in Autism and Behavioural Sciences from George Brown College in Toronto  Canada, a Masters of Science in Applied Behaviour Analysis from The University of Trinity College Dublin, in Dublin Ireland, and a Masters Certificate in Special Education from Brandman University in California. Amelia takes an individualized and trauma-informed approach with her clients to guide them in achieving their goals; her quest is to empower Neurodivergent talent, remove educational and employment barriers, and be boldly curious and intentionally courageous.

Daphne Goold

Daphne is a Speech-Language Pathologist who has been passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals throughout her career and has made this a significant focus both personally and professionally in the past 10+ years. She strives to deliver neurodiversity-affirming services for children, teens, and adults and their families and openly shares what she learns both personally and professionally with families. Daphne has a neurospicy family and she herself is neurodivergent. She moved from York Region to Halifax recently, making the move from public services in the Preschool Speech and Language Program to private practice. This has meant that she can further individualize her approach with families and work with individuals throughout the lifespan. Working with Autistic individuals to help them navigate employment, volunteering, executive dysfunction, and sensory differences is something that she has personal experience with as she has seen the lack of these supports while helping her Autistic sister and wants to help fill that gap.

Amy began her career working with children with autism while in high school, when one of her teacher’s recognized she would be the right fit to support their child with autism. It was from that moment she knew she wanted to be a Behaviour Analyst.  She has worked in a variety of clinical and administrative roles supporting persons with autism and developmental disabilities from toddlers to adults in a variety of settings. In her work she has supported youth and adults to develop skills for independence and employability using an individualized approach. She completed her Master of Applied Disability Studies with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis in June 2021 from Brock University and is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and Registered Behaviour Analyst (Ont). Amy is passionate about helping people achieve their goals!
